Santiago Molinari is a digital video artist, filmmaker, and drone cinematographer. Treating the audiovisual as a living system, he fuses aerial choreography, video mapping, VFX, 3D, and artificial intelligence to build immersive video works.
He studied at La Sorbonne Panthéon and later completed an advanced technician's certificate at CIFACOM. He went on to work at Gedeon Programmes and Omega Films, before live editing for France Télévisions.
In 2024, he edited a series of videos for Björk and Aleph Molinari's installation Nature Manifesto at the Centre Pompidou. That same year, he edited the short film Benazir for the artist and musician Anohni. He has also worked on multiple music videos for artists including Kerala Dust, Hen Yanni, and Irene Dresel.
Alongside this work, he has done video production and fashion editorials for Purple Magazine, and edited a video campaign for the Gucci Palace collaboration. His clients also include Maison Kitsuné, Nowness, Art Basel, the workshop of Carlos Cruz-Diez, and numerous art galleries.
In 2025, he exhibited his series of topographical landscapes, Classified Cockpits, at Sala Mendoza in Caracas.
He lives and works in Paris.
