about
Santiago Molinari (Caracas) is a Paris-based filmmaker, drone cinematographer, and visual artist working at the edge of cinema, digital art, and live performance. Trained at La Sorbonne Panthéon and CIFACOM, he began at Gedeon Programmes and Omega Films before editing for France Télévisions; collaborators and clients include Centre Pompidou, Björk, GUCCI, Purple Magazine, Maison Kitsuné, and Carlos Cruz-Diez. Treating video as a living system, he fuses aerial choreography, mapping, VFX, 3D, and algorithmic processes to build immersive works that fracture perception and reveal hidden topographies—exemplified by his series Digital Topographies and stage visuals shown during Art Basel. His practice translates complex realities into precise, sensorial experiences.
